Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a medical treatment used to increase the levels of testosterone in individuals who have low levels of this hormone. It’s primarily prescribed to men with hypogonadism, a condition where the body doesn’t produce enough testosterone, which can lead to symptoms like low libido, fatigue, reduced muscle mass, and mood changes.
TRT can be administered in various forms, including injections, patches, gels, and pellets implanted under the skin. At Renew You MedSpa, we currently offer in person weekly injections of TRT. The goal of TRT is to restore testosterone levels to a normal range, alleviating symptoms and improving overall quality of life.
